Color Coded Speaker Connections Provides easy identification of speaker connections. Makes hooking up your DVD
Dream™ system as simple as matching the color
to the corresponding connection. Connecting a 5.1 channel surround system requires no less than SIX
connections from the receiver to the speakers (Front L/R, Center, RearL/R, Sub). With color-coded connections,
simply match green with green, etc., to finish connecting a full 5.1channel surround system. Digital Input Allows
for connections to digital cable, satellite, or HD TV set top boxes, PlayStation® 2 and other games systems
(with optical output). Simple connection allows for Multi-Channel Surround Sound to be decoded within
the DVD Dream system. Due to the popularity of transportable Dolby Digital® and dts® products with digital optical
outputs, the ability to easily hook these products up quickly is a great benefit. Progressive Scan Virtually
eliminates scanning lines. DVD movies have a more natural, film-like picture performance. DVD discs are all
encoded in Progressive. Interlaced DVD players down convert the 480 progressive software to interlaced to be
watched on basic NTSC (non Hi-Scan®) TV set.
