Pioneer's VSX-D912K delivers high-end 6.1 home theater sound, plus a wealth of convenience features. Its 48-bit Motorola processor drives an incredible array of surround decoding options, including Dolby® Digital EX, DTS-ES®, DTS 96/24 and Pro Logic® II. The amplifier section delivers 110 watts x 6 channels of power to fill your room with sweeping, cinematic sound. And DTS Neo:6 and Pioneer's Expanded Theater modes give you a variety of ways to transform stereo and Dolby Surround sources into thrilling 6.1 audio.
This receiver also includes a Multichannel Acoustic Calibration system that can automatically balance your home theater speaker levels. A corded microphone is included — just plug it into the 'D912K's front panel and carry the mic to your prime listening seat. Each of your speakers will then play test tones, which are picked up by the mic and relayed back to the receiver. The 'D912K uses this information to automatically balance the level of each of your speakers, for extremely accurate home theater performance.
Controlling your system is a cinch with this receiver's versatile LCD remote: it comes pre-programmed to operate other brands of A/V gear, and it can even learn codes from your other remotes.
